this is not a celebrity blog site
Sighting #1:
Who: Jake Gyllenhaal
Where: Laurel Canyon Dog Park
Spotted by: The Left
We were having a normal morning at the dog park when the Left spotted some paparazzi in the parking lot. We scanned the expansive dog park but couldn't come up with anyone notable, except for some LA hipsters & a very tall, stick-of-a-person blond. But the Left, smart as he is, followed the line of the photog's camera and spotted Donny Darko himself as he was leaving with his German Shepherd, Atticus. Keep and eye out for some inattentive dog owners (that's us) gawking at the Broke Back Mountain star on a celebrity blog near you.
Point 1, the Left.
Sighting #2:
Who: Randy Spelling (might have to google this one)
Where: Robertson & 3rd
Spotted by: The Way Left
No story here. Just walking back from the American Apparel store when I spotted the no-lister in his Range Rover driving down Third. The Left's response was a simple and disinterested "oh".
Still. Point 1, the Way Left.
Sighing #3:
Who: Kristin Cavallari, Nick Zano
Where: Beverly Center
Spotted by: The Way Left
Still reeling from the shock of seeing Randy earlier in the day, we were treated to some more celebrity eye candy as we were stopped at a light at the Beverly Center: none other than good-for-nothing Kristin Cavallari & her boyfriend Nick Zano (he co-starred opposite Amanda Bynes in What I Like About You). They looked like they had stepped out of the gym (her, in black stretch pants [insert camel toe joke here], him, in an ill-fitting basketball jersey [Wade]), although the Left and I couldn't find a gym (nor paparazzi) in sight. As they crossed the crosswalk, I couldn't help but honk the car horn (4 times in rapid succession) because any celebrity caught parading around town on a Saturday deserves a littlesympathy attention.
Points 2 & 3, the Way Left.

Derby Day

Break out your big funny hat it's Derby day. Since the wiener dog races are coming up, I’ve been working on some names for Red, what do you think... "my red wagon" or "red rocket" sorry that's all I have so far... Red has all of his kibble in one basket for this year's Kentucky Derby the # 16 horse "Circular Quay" is the choice.

you're great. no, really. you are.
I'm sure most of you already know this but just to put it out there, the Left is a pretty amazing person. While most of us are rotting away in front of the boob tube (current obsession: MTV's Taquita & Kaui dubbed "our generation's Bosom Buddies"), the Left's been diligently at work imagining, crafting and creating. Need proof? Fine. Check out his newly launced website at www.justontucker.com.
And not to take away Red's thunder, he's also been diligently at work eating pens, knocking over paint cans, and gnawing away at the Left's drawing station.
I salute you both.

Red wishes you a special birthday...
A happy birthday shoutout goes to our favorite mommy-to-be, MB!

All those in favor of a new duvet cover for the Left?
Aye.
