baby, it's cold outside
Ah yes, the cold southern California autumn months have finally arrived. And Red doesn't like it one bit:

Spongebob no longer welcomed in house
A late post regarding our beloved dog's birthday. Since I didn't want to come home empty handed, I decided to stop by the store and pick up some new treats (which he loved) and a birthday balloon (which he didn't love so much):

Nice gesture, but...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

So today September 12th marks the one-year anniversary of Red’s birth! A puppy no more... well don't tell Red that, as he is absolutely crazy now that he is fixed. Like a little pinball I tell you, bouncing all over the place. But as we all know I love every minute that I spend with him. Happy Birthday Red! On a side note, this also is the one-year mark that my very special (Ju Yeon / Special Opts / the way left / Tiffany) has been in my life as well. P.S. Whatever name I might refer to her as, she has found a special place in Red’s heart and mine. Thanks for everything! Sarang He!

One more day 'till...
...the big 1. Seems just like yesterday when...

and now look at him:

If I hear the Left asking. One. More. Time. "When are you going to post?" "I doubt anyone looks at our blog anymore" "Why don't you post?"
FYI the Left has a new joke where he pretends he twisted his wrist (followed by a frown and him proclaiming, "twist"), thereby leaving him unable to unlock doors, lift things, walk the dog, take out the trash, etc. It's kind of like when Red is too tired to go on his walk and forgets he has bones:

the cone - friend or foe?
Red's adjusting to the cone, or the "Elizabethan collar" nicely. He's learned how to eat and drink with it on, but turning corners and chasing flies still prove to be a little tricky. A minor mishap last night ("Uh oh", says the Left, half asleep, "he got out of his cone and is eating it") but still doing brilliant. Considering.
