Hindsight is 20/20...but foresight?

We all know what kind of president we don't want (hindsight) but how do we choose the one that we do want (foresight)?

Red's been hard at work weeding through the field of both official and potential democratic candidates for the upcoming presidential election, as you can tell from the following photo:
hard at work

He's narrowed down his choices to the following: the 'other' Clinton (announced), the charismatic newcomer (decision to come Feb. 10), sexy back (announced), the truth however unfortunate (fingers crossed) and just plain crazy:

not crazy not crazy not crazy not crazy crazy

Red urges you to decide.

week off

I thought since I took a week off from posting, that I would surprise everyone with red’s baby picture... this is the one that the breeder sent over that won me over... how cute is my dog?? Wow he is something... I know what everyone is thinking I hear it pretty much every day, OMG he is sooo cute!!

Barbaro

In honor of Barbaro, (the Kentucky Derby winner of just passed away) Red is now training to compete in some Weiner dog races; we are trying to break his maiden on July 4th. For those of you not formulary with the vocab in the horse racing world, breaking ones maiden means to win his or hers fist race. Barbaro was one of those very special horses, never lost a race until breaking down in the second leg of the Triple Crown last year. It's a sad day to see such a fighter like Barbaro lose in the battle of life. RIP Barbaro.

logo release party

Red is having a logo release party this Friday, for anyone planning on bringing there bitch, here is what red is into: long hair, trim figure, dappled chest, wet nose, must have strong left beliefs, not looking for anything to serous just looking for a good time.

Muhammad Ali

Happy birthday to Muhammad Ali who turned 65 today. Ali was one of the greatest athletes this world has ever seen, and will ever see, just the way he carried himself, doing only what he believed in, doing only what he thought was right. It's just amazing that someone who had that much going for him gave it all up, to stand by his beliefs. Muhammad Ali is a true hero... On a very, very small side note, Red has been known to float like a butterfly and sting like a bee. You should see him everyday when I get home from my strenuous 9-5 he is all over the place, kissing, licking, biting, barking who knows in a dog's world he might be the next Ali.

doubles

since red thinks he doubles as a vacuum, and has to lick or eat anything and everything that is on the floor he got to go visit the veterinary two days ago. the little guy had parasites in his poop... they gave me some meds that he has to be on for 7 days, and then we have to go for a check up. side note..i wish you could hear the way special opts pronounces veterinary, amazing..if you are worried he is feeling much better. if you feel the need you can send him get-well e-mails to KILLINGMERED@gmail.com or maybe even a birthday wish... for those wondering his birthday is 9/12/06 so that means my little guy is four months old tomorrow.

splatter paint

yesterday i got home, and it looked like red had taken up splatter painting in his studio (his crate), demonstrating a style similar to Jackson Pollock. But then judging by the smell, and the sad look on his face, i came to the conclusion that he actually got sick. afterwards i decided to treat him to a bath to relieve him of his smell that he had acquired from his bad day...

i never knew

i never knew how creative my dachshund was.. just this morning i woke up to the sight of a self portrait he had done of himself in the middle of my bedroom floor. as much as i enjoy finding all of the little art projects on floor, i would really love it if he would go #2 outside.
