hot hot heat

As the temperature climbs, this has been the sad scene on the homefront:

home alone

And once we arrived home, the anxiety kicked in:

3 days in the slammer...

While the Left & I enjoyed some R&R in Vegas this past weekend, Red got locked up in the slammer again. On the ride home, he could barely keep his eyes open:

welcome to the 'bu

Congratulations to my most favoritest college roommate and MPP graduate. After a celebratory lunch at Dukes in Malibu, I pulled a total hippy move, pulled over on the side of the road, and enjoyed the view:

sunday = fun day

What a wonderful Sunday, started with the dog park, where Red being Red, proved once again that he is, a socialite. Running and playing with all of his friends. Then meet the Hoover party of 4 at the mall for some lunch then back home to see a little of this.. Red's favorite thing to do..

cuddles!

explanation needed

It usually goes something like this:

1. Red's nose goes on high alert and it gets real close to the ground
2. He finds a location in the grass and uses his little hands to dig a tiny hole
3. Red buries his nose in said hole
4. Then, this happens:

He'll just lay there and scoot-scoot-scoots his little body all over the place and get real wiggly. Why does he do this? Someone please explain.

we're back!

This crazy weather has us all confused. Red finds solace in his new, hairy toy:
