As the temperature climbs, this has been the sad scene on the homefront:

home alone
The Left left for the weekend to be inspired in the Big Apple. What a sad scene coming back from the airport:

3 days in the slammer...
While the Left & I enjoyed some R&R in Vegas this past weekend, Red got locked up in the slammer again. On the ride home, he could barely keep his eyes open:
And this is the state he's been in for the last two days:
And here's the Left mocking our dog's exhaustion:

neat freak
Red didn't like the fact that I carelessly tossed my flannel on the couch instead of hanging it up neatly in the closet. He decided to teach me a lesson by popping off all the buttons from said flannel in the middle of the night:

welcome to the 'bu
Congratulations to my most favoritest college roommate and MPP graduate. After a celebratory lunch at Dukes in Malibu, I pulled a total hippy move, pulled over on the side of the road, and enjoyed the view:
Red ate my keychain the other day. I am expecting a plastic corpse in his...er...droppings any day now.
After all, this is a blog about Red, not me.

hot, tired, happy
Soaring temperatures at the dog park and lots of running around makes for a tired but happy dog:
Behold! Red, the amazing circus dog. But instead of jumping through hoops of fire, he prefers the perilous, pink and hairy legs of the Left:

explanation needed
It usually goes something like this:
1. Red's nose goes on high alert and it gets real close to the ground
2. He finds a location in the grass and uses his little hands to dig a tiny hole
3. Red buries his nose in said hole
4. Then, this happens:
He'll just lay there and scoot-scoot-scoots his little body all over the place and get real wiggly. Why does he do this? Someone please explain.
